Hexacon Classic is a Turn Based game that has to be played by at least 2 players. Support is given for up to 4 players. This can be human or computer controlled players. Every player has his own color: red, green, blue or yellow.

The game is played on a sphere or blob covered in tiles. Every tile has an arrow pointing to one of its neighbors. This way, every tile is connected to another tile, forming clusters of connected tiles. At the beginning of a game every player is assigned a cluster of 2 tiles (tiles belonging to a player get the color of that player). A player makes a move by clicking on one of his tiles. This causes the clicked tile to turn clockwise, changing the connections between the tiles and extending the property of the player: every tile that the turned tile is connected to (directly or indirectly) gets the same color of that player. A player wins when he is the last player with tiles.

When a player has conquered a large area it might be possible that one of his opponents reconquers a fair amount of this portion, resulting in a great loss for that player. To prevent this from happening players can build walls between two tiles, disrupting the connection between those tiles. This allows clusters to be subdivided into smaller chunks. Besides building walls players can also build towers, enabling players to attack hostile walls and towers. In order to build walls and towers, players need to have gathered enough resources. Three different resources are spread over the tiles: energy, matter and anti-matter. You gain these resources when you own a tile with that resource on it. Each time a player takes a turn he gets one unit for every resource tile he owns. Once he has collected enough resources he can exchange them for a tower, a wall or an attack.
