Course Program in pdf file.
Prerequisites
The following documents, used as material in our second year Computer Science course, can be used as a guide for preparing for the course. The Computer Graphics syllabus deals with the basics of 2D and 3D computer graphics using OpenGL. The skeleton code for the assignments can be found in the accompanying appendix.
Lecture Handouts
The following documents contain the handout material accompanying the presentations. These are just here for a digital reference and the enjoyment of color pictures.
This material will be provided on print at the first day of the course.
3D Computer Graphics - Erik Jansen
- Data Visualization - Frits Post
Medical Visualization - Charl Botha
Virtual Reality & Data Visualization - Michal Koutek
- Information Visualization - Jack van Wijk
Workshop manuals, tutorials
GPU programming, (ab)using the graphics card for computation - Jorik Blaas
- Medical Visualization workshop, Charl Botha
- Virtual Reality workshop - Eric Griffith, Gerwin de Haan, Michal Koutek
Workshop instructions are available online during labwork
