Student Projects
MSc student projects, both research assignments and thesis projects, can be done in all areas of computer graphics and CAD/CAM, including:
collaborative engineering
robotics
photorealistic rendering
geographical information systems
It is also possible to do a project in other technical application areas of computer science.
Projects can be done internally, i.e. within the context of one of the research projects of the group, or externally, i.e. at a company, a research institute, another faculty of the university, or another university.
A research assignment often serves as a preparation for a thesis project, e.g. by doing a literature study on the topic of the thesis project, but can also be a project on another topic. More information on some recently completed thesis projects can be found here.
The topic of a project is always determined in consultation with staff members of the group. Depending on your particular interests, they will give you suggestions. Of course, you can also propose a project yourself.
When you wish to do an MSc project in our group, please contact dr.W.F.Bronsvoort to make an appointment. This should preferably be done a couple of months before the start of the project.
