Research
Work Description
Lingxiao's work concentrates on employing flow visualization techniques for automatic polyp detection. More specifically, the effort involves developing tools for surface geometric and topological analysis that contribute to a surface processing based automatic polyp detection prototype. This research is part of a virtual colonoscopy research effort sponsored by Philips Medical Systems, and a continuation of Lingxiao's M.Sc. thesis in the field of robust curvature estimation for polygonal surface meshes.
Personal Interests
Besides the challenging research topic, Lingxiao is interested in NPR and object recognition. Other interests include oil painting, music and basketball.
